Timeline
First year presentation at Blackburn College
At the beginning of term, I volunteered to give a presentation to some of the first years that were starting Blackburn College, I was pretty nervous I'd say, I used the disc to help demonstrate a little bit about we are what we do, I learnt after watching another young speaker's presentation a little while before that the disc only had sounds and images but no wording so I was able to say some things that would link with what was on the screen. I got the first years involved, in the actions of remembering each others names by getting them to face one another and find out each others names, I thought this would be a good one considering it was the first day of college and some people might not know the person sat next to them, I also made everyone in the room do the action of "hugging someone" which I found amusing but everyone seemed to enjoy participating.charging phones

Today, i came back from Eskdale after being on a W.A.W.W.D trainging trip =], when we arrived in Blackburn i rang my mum and asked her if she could pick me up as i have a broken leg and travelling places is fairly tough, i wasn't able to get the lift as my brother was borrowing my mum's car to go to work in. So i was pretty screwed, but Hannah's mum offered to give me a lift seen as they live on the way to my house. I was very greatful for the lift and made sure to say thank to Hannah's family for taking me home . =]
