Downloads Terms & Conditions
Thanks for visiting our downloads section! We Are What We Do aims to inspire people to use their everyday actions to change the world. In this section you’ll find things to help you inspire as many people as possible to get involved.
However we do have some restrictions on our images and you will need to make sure you comply with our brand guidelines.
Please read the information in your relevant section, Schools, Media, Business.
What can I download? (schools)
We know that schools and students are pretty powerful forces and we want to do everything we can to help you inspire others. Please feel free to download the wallpapers for use on your school and home computers. You may also want to print out some of the images to hang as posters if you are running a campaign. You could also use these images in newsletters and assignments if they are appropriate. If you are doing a book drop, why not download our label which can be stuck into books that are about to start out on their book-crossing journey?
Our books were created as a collaboration and lots of designers, illustrators and copywriters worked for free to help us produce both Change the World for a Fiver and Change the World 9 to 5. Therefore please do not manipulate the images and only use them as they are presented on our website - that includes setting them within a bigger picture. It also might be helpful to include the line “If you want to find out more please visit www.wearewhatwedo.org”. However we’d be delighted if you want to create your own artwork inspired by the actions from our books you may find that it could help you really engage your school as you can think about actions that are particularly important to you. Please send us anything you do, we’d love to see it!
Teachers, please feel free to use the images in lesson plans, show the films as a fun introduction to WAWWD, download the animations for assemblies and don’t forget we have a WAWWD lesson plan and assembly slide show which you can also download.
We’d love to hear from you, please e-mail us with stories of what you’ve been doing in your school.
Some images aren’t owned by We Are What We Do which means that you may not be able to use them. Please contact us to find out if you are able to use the image you are interested in.
What can I download? (media)
If you would like to do a feature on WAWWD you will find our logo and jacket shots of both books that can be used in press articles.
Much of our creative work is done on a pro bono basis, so we’re obliged to ensure that where it is used by a third party it is used in such a way that it furthers the aims of the We Are What We Do project. (i.e. that simple actions done by lots of people can change the world). It is also our duty to ensure that it is not used by a third party for commercial gain without an appropriate agreement being in place.
We also request an example of all articles produced, please send us a copy for our files.
If you would like to use any images you can download low res jpegs from this section. However you will need to include the following credit –
“Images taken from the book [insert Change the World for a Fiver or Change the World 9 to 5], for more information visit www.wearewhatwedo.org”
Or if you are using images from both books please use the following credit –

If you want to inspire colleagues why not use our “Dare a friend” feature which lets you pick an appropriate action and send it on to someone else.
You could show a selection of our short films as an ice breaker as they are a short, fun introduction to We Are What We Do.

All artwork must be approved by We Are What We Do in sufficient time for any changes to be made if necessary.
